Famines are not always the result of drought, it could also be caused by natural disasters. A catastrophic disaster could effect food supply and distribution (as we’ve already seen with tsunamies, hurricanes, floods, fire, wind and tornados, and earthquakes).

We haven’t even mentioned the possibility of an eruption from Mt. St.Helens, Mt. Rainier, and Yellowstone or any one of several places along the “Ring of Fire”.

With this understanding, my desire is to bring communities together with churches ecumenically, The business sector will be an added as an additional support to the churches and community. We cannot depend on the government to take care of us in a crisis. Past cataclysmic events has shown us that a crisis big enough could put a strain on the Red Cross and Food Banks (Hurricane Katrina is an example of such a situation) while waiting for the government Red Tape processes to give claim to the disaster zone . This is good reason to be self-reliant, so we will not be forced to deal with the delay and red-tape of government.

One of the ways to resolve this problem is for communities to grow their own food in greenhouses for all year growing and storage of personal food. The purpose of greenhouse crops is local mini-canaries to handle the overflow of crops grown in and out of greenhouses.

Greenhouses are in great demand now. As the CEO of 4 Star Greenhouses, I hope to have personal relationships with people so I can inspire the public to be closer to each other by working together for a common goal. Some of the goals are;

to give a child a better sense of well being by not going to bed hungry
it will cut grocery costs for struggling families that are trying to put on the table.
benefits in having food storage supply by being prepared for any event.
to bring families together by doing a family garden activity.

There is a wisdom in being prepared for any crisis. The more owners of greenhouses (preferably a 4 Star Greenhouses) the better chance in resolving food shortages. The more fruit and vegetables are grown all year round, the more families will be able to do their own canning for storage.

There is a need for community canneries. 4 Star Greenhouses,llc among other community partners will contribute to further the cause of The Community Growers Association, a non-profit organization. Upon the availability of funds, The Community Growers Association will have grant money for recipients to own a 4 Star Greenhouse, greenhouse.with the grant from the foundation to the recipients.

For a few years now, I have envisioned a localized business model for the communities and relief agencies so that we will be more self reliant and prepared. We can be prepared for any situation with community involvement. An affective business model can be implemented throughout the country as standard policy and procedures protocol. It is this protocol that will quicken a resolution time frame for an unexpected crisis.
